Sandra Partin has been painting and designing since she could hold a pencil. Growing up her biggest inspiration was her grandmother. Being an artist herself, her grandmother taught her how to watercolor and paint. Over the years Sandra has tried so many mediums but has found her place in abstracts and mixed medias. With inspiration from vintage ephemera and botanicals her work is inviting with a touch of whimsy.

“I love to bring life to things that are now obsolete, like old letters or an old product label. There is beauty in everything and my goal is to show the world that. I like the fact that I'm using things from the past. Homage to my ancestors and the ones before me. If I'm not using ephemera in a piece I let my mind relax and just create. Whatever happens, happens. I embrace it all. No two pieces are exactly the same, that's the beauty of it.”
